Directions to Mesquite
From Salt Lake City and the state of Utah
Head south on Interstate 15 past St. George, Utah, across the northwest corner of Arizona. Mesquite, Nevada is just over the Arizona Nevada border at exit 122. Mesquite is about 340 miles or about a 5 hour drive from Salt Lake City.
From Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada
Head north on Interstate 15 to exit 120. Average drive time from Southern California is 5-6 hours. From Las Vegas it is only an hour drive north.
To the Grand Canyon North Rim from Mesquite, Nevada
Head north on Interstate 15. Take exit 16 toward Hurricane, UT on state route 9. In Hurricane turn right onto Route 59. Route 59 changes to Route 389 when crossing the Arizona border. In Fredonia, AZ turn right onto US 89 (alternate). Take 89 for about 30 miles. In Jacob Lake turn right onto the Grand Canyon Highway, Route 67. Follow to Grand Canyon National Park. Total distance is about 185 miles and takes about 4 hours.
