The City of Mesquite's Virgin Valley Heritage Museum has various historical items such as the first Slot Machine brought into the Valley, Photographs, Quilts, Wedding Dresses, a 1945 Television, Early Telephones, a Whiskey Still and much more. Mesquite offers a self-guided walking tour of the most historically significant buildings in downtown Mesquite, some of which are only remembered by the placement of a historical marker. Each historical marker contains a photograph with interesting historical facts. Open Tue - Sat 10am - 4pm. Admission is free.
