DIRECTIONS TO MESQUITE, NEVADA

Mesquite sits on the edge of the Nevada/Arizona border and is just a short drive from Utah and Las Vegas. But no matter where you're coming from, it's worth the trip. 

From Salt Lake City and the State of Utah

Head south on Interstate 15 past St. George, Utah, across the northwest corner of Arizona.
Mesquite, Nevada is just over the Arizona Nevada border at exit 122.
Mesquite is about 340 miles or about a 5-hour drive from Salt Lake City.
 

From Southern California 

Head north on Interstate 15 to exit 120.
Average drive time from Southern California is 5-6 hours.
From Las Vegas it is only an hour drive north.

Head north on Interstate 15 to exit 120.
Average drive time from Southern California is 5-6 hours.
From Las Vegas it is only an hour drive north.

 

DIRECTIONS FROM MESQUITE TO NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

 

To the Grand Canyon North Rim from Mesquite

Head north on Interstate 15.
Take exit 16 toward Hurricane, UT on state route 9.
In Hurricane turn right onto Route 59. Route 59 changes to Route 389 when crossing the Arizona border. In Fredonia, AZ turn right onto US 89 (alternate). Take 89 for about 30 miles.
In Jacob Lake turn right onto the Grand Canyon Highway, Route 67. Follow to Grand Canyon National Park.
Total distance is about 185 miles and takes about 3.5 hours.

 

To Tuacahn Center for the Arts from Mesquite

Travel north on Interstate 15.
While on Interstate 15, you will cross the eastern Nevada border into Arizona, and the northern Arizona border into Utah.
Turn left onto UT-18 N/Bluff St.
Take UT-18 N/Bluff St approximately 3 miles and turn left onto W Snow Canyon Pkwy.
Drive northwest a little less than a mile and travel through the first traffic circle (take the 2nd exit onto the same street, W Snow Canyon Pkwy).
Continue northwest on Snow Canyon Pkwy until the second traffic circle.
Take the first exit right onto Snow Canyon Dr.
Take your first left onto Tuacahn Dr.
Travel about 1.5 miles to reach Tuacahn Center for the Arts, 1100 Tuacahn Dr, Ivins, UT 84738.
Total distance is about 47 miles and takes about 55 minutes.

To Bryce Canyon National Park from Mesquite

Travel north on Interstate 15.
While on Interstate 15, you will cross the eastern Nevada border into Arizona, and the northern Arizona border into Utah. You will be on Interstate 15 for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Take exit 95 and turn right onto UT-20. Travel east for about an hour and 10 minutes until it ends at US 89.
Turn right on US 89 South to Panguitch. When in Panguitch watch for signs to stay on US 89 turning left in town.
Continue on US 89 for 7 miles to UT-12. Turn left onto UT-12.
Continue on UT-12 for 13.6 miles. Be sure to use parking areas and turnouts to stop and take pictures.
Turn right onto UT-63 S. Travel south for about 4 miles.
You will pass the Bryce Canyon National Park Visitors Center on your right.
The Bryce Canyon area is to the left and there is parking available in multiple spots.
Total distance is about 180 miles and takes about 3 hours.
 

To Zion National Park from Mesquite

Travel north (and then northeast) on Interstate 15.
While on Interstate 15, you will cross the eastern Nevada border into Arizona, and the northern Arizona border into Utah. You will be on Interstate 15 for about 45 minutes.
In the city of Washington, take exit 16 for State Hwy 9 (W State St) toward Hurricane/Zion National Park. Turn right.
Continue east on W State St for about 45 minutes.
Turn right onto UT-9 East (500 North Street).
Travel along UT-9 East for about 20 miles until you reach Zion National Park’s South Entrance Ranger Station.
Total distance is about 80 miles and takes about 1.5 hours.

 

To Las Vegas from Mesquite

Travel south on Interstate 15.
About 1 hour and 20 minutes later, arrive in Las Vegas.
Total distance is about 82 miles and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
